Looks like they are pretty experienced... 
In Response To: Good to see such a practical seamanlike attitude. ()
Found their website, looks like they set out from Oregon 6+ years ago and came back to the US just this spring in the Salty Dog. I hope they eventually post info about the rudder, I have a Catalina 380 which has a very similar rudder construction as the 42, and it appears their boat is close to the same vintage as mine (although I cruise around SoCal, not the Gulf Stream). Glad they are doing OK.
