() I was called out one time in the Sea of Cortez to help a boat that had lost steerage. On the radio I was told the sea was high and they NEEDED help.
When I got there with a couple of others to help, we found the sea to be almost flat calm and the only problem was a broken chain master link on the wheel steering!!!
I can you you, I WAS PISSED! It took 24 hours. The owner, that we knew from the SF Bay area could not understand what my problem was.
It's very good to hear seamen like messages from out there after all we are hearing about that rally.
