And another rudder
In Response To: Jammin Rudder problems... ()
This is a Catalina 470. They diverted to Bermuda. Stayed a day and departed again for the BVI as part of the SDR. They have returned to Bermuda and posted this on Facebook. I have no further details.
"We have returned to Bermuda. Apparently the rudder was severely damaged in the rough conditions that we encountered on the way across. We will stay here until we can have the rudder replaced. May take up to a month. We will adjust our attitude and make the best of our unexpected Bermuda layover."
