Update from Distant Star...

They are at about 29 39'N 70 37'W, about 750 miles out from Tortola. Winds are in the mid to upper 20s, seas are down to around 10 to 12', they are making about 160-165m still. Wind is a little N of E, looks like a low N of DR is tweaking the wind to the N a bit. Gribs show wind and seas will continue to moderate, going E and then to a light ESE briefly this weekend before going back to E.

The weather is now hot, the sky was clear last night, they saw the Southern Cross. They are also taking some water in the forward locker, but Tom has a pump down there, he says it's been cycling a few seconds every 5 minutes or so. All is well onboard.

He is getting used to working his SSB, we could not get it working right on our trip N last July but it is working well now. He said there is one catamaran out - dismasted - no one was injured and they are motoring back to VA.
