It's never been about lifestyle. If as you said, "people should make they're own choices" they're wouldn't be a thread such as this one that started on boat size. Hell, it's difficult to even talk about anchors without everyone posting they have the best and the other guys anchor is crap. For the most part it's always been about my boat, my lifestyle or my knowledge of boating is better than yours usually followed by photos, stories or long technical posts to prove it.

No problem with it and I see it as all fun but lets not kid ourselves what this board is mostly about.
